ACTING CENTRE DIRECTOR - HEAD OF NURSERY

My name is Suzi and I have been working at A-Z since January 2003. I joined the Centre 3 month after its opening. I was the very first teacher of our youngest age group which is called  ‘Cuddly Koalas’. Since then I have had a chance to work with every age group here in the Centre. I hold both a Kindergarten and an Early Childhood Education teacher degree, complemented with various extra courses in different fields of childcare, such as completing a course to become a physical movement developmental teacher. I studied drama pedagogy for three years at the university that I like to use and put in practice every day. I am passionate about my job and personally, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the children’s happy faces and their development every day.

During my career at A-Z, I have enjoyed various roles and tasks which have provided me with a great understanding, knowledge and experience. As the Deputy Centre Director and currently, the Acting Centre Director I am honoured to represent our Centre’s great values and carry on with our unchanging MISSION STATEMENT: to provide a complete and integrated environment of care that meets each child’s individual needs in all areas of development. And to ensure, that each child’s time with us under my leadership will prove to be safe, secure, busy, playful active leaning every day, and, most importantly, FUN!
