Our Welcome Back Party always falls at the end of the first week on Friday in the new school year.

 This garden party is the first occasion when A-Z parents and children can share and enjoy some outside time and garden fun with each other. It is a great chance for the ‘old’ A-Z community to catch up after the summer break and for the new parents to be introduced to each other.  This outside event usually lasts for two hours. It is basically an early pick-up for the parents as they are invited to come from 3pm and stay until 5pm in the our ‘big’ garden chatting, having some snacks and discovering our huge playground together with their child.

 The party typically has a theme that the teachers agree on in advance and they inform and prepare the children as well. The teachers organize some fun games involving the children so they are entertained and occupied while their parents are talking to each other and to the teachers.  The Welcome Back Garden Party is organized in order to allow the parents to have casual conversations with their children’s teachers, to meet other parents in our Centre and to form a community.
