Zsófi Pauli

DEPUTY HEAD OF KINDERGARTEN

My name is Zsófi and I have been working at A-Z since January 2013. I am a qualified kindergarten teacher and also a children’s yoga & hatha yoga instructor. During my 9 years at the Centre I have had a chance to work with almost every age group from 2 to 6 years old and I have enjoyed the diverse challenges and experiences of all of them. In the past I also worked as an English language teacher for children and young adults.

Sport and movement have always played an important role in my life ever since I was five years old. I continue to be fascinated observing the children and understanding the world through their daily interactions with others. I am happy that I can be their witness, to how they explore new tools, to listen to their unique remarks and answer their curious questions.

I believe the most important values we can give them as teachers have not changed: a secure and loving environment, lots of free play and hands on organised activities where they can express themselves, the gift of movement and of course, my favourite, spending as much time as possible in nature in the fresh air. My aim therefore is to share and spread my love for sports, arts and nature to the children.
